After living as an expat for 15 years, I’ve just relocated to the U.S.A. with my husband and 2 kids. During my time abroad I went from life as a single woman in a remote village in Central America, to raising a family in one of the largest cities in the Middle East.
I founded Culture Dive to provide support and tools for fellow expats navigating the complexities of international life, including repatriation. In 2013, I co-founded Shababeek Intercultural Development Center in Amman, Jordan, where we facilitated over 388,000 hours of Arabic language sessions in our first 7 years of operation. I’ve walked alongside thousands of people as they move overseas to learn Arabic and I know the struggles a cross-cultural life can bring. I also know living overseas can be the best thing that ever happened to you and your family.
When the day comes to move back “home”, I’ve got your back. I want to help you make the most complicated transition of all the first step to a more fulfilling life than you could have ever imagined.
Don’t do it alone. I’ll be your guide.
